New case of abuse. Not surprising. But a logic consequence of the CPS actions.
Barnevernsansatt tiltalt for seksuell omgang med 15-åring
(CPS-employee accused of sexual intercourse with 15-year old)https://www.tv2.no/nyheter/9764469/As a child, when I raised pigeons, we were familiar with the fact that low clouds or even fog increased the danger of birds of prey. Clouds hanging down over the mountains made the hawks more daring to approach the city, and things could happen in seconds.
For this simple reason we never let the carrier-pigeons out in such weather. We knew the risks.
When a 57-year old man is accused of abuse, one pretends to be shocked about the incident.
But this is simply the CPS releasing the pigeons when the weather calls for caution. And this is daily practice for those who were supposed to protect children.
Children are being displaced from homes where they as a general rule are protected, to environments and individuals where they - completely as foreseen - are exposed to risks.
This is one of the reasons that care orders should only be made when there really is no other way.
When a 15-year old is being abused in public care, we should at least be able to say that it was impossible for the 15-year old to stay at home. It might also have been the case for this particular child, as I do not know what kind of home this girl was taken from.
However, we do not have a system in Norway enabling us to make such a statement as a general rule.
To the contrary, there is reason to believe that most care orders could have been avoided.
This is an acknowledgement so tragic and so catastrophic that it is hard to fully understand.
