We observe that the false eighty-percent-are-satisfied-claim is not questioned in this french program. The CPS-spokesman also talks about childrens' rights. It sounds nice. The only right the children lack, though, is the right to a better life. That is a right which cannot be implemented in our laws, as this underlying goal for all CPS work has been proven impossible to put into practice. Something which the CPS and profit-makers would rather not talk about.

And when they are forced to do so, they demand more research to find out about the results of CPS activities, although they already know they are disasterous. They said the same ten years ago.

The establishment has all the time in the world - in contrast to the children. Because they know that their business will suffer or collapse when people understand how little children benefit from their services. (Based on the CPS' own research, which has never been able to prove that their activities do more good than harm).

As a nation we think good intentions is good enough for the thousands of children who receive supposed help.

We get the CPS we deserve. But as one of the leading countries in social welfare, we also get the criticism we should have. Increased focus on these issues from foreign journalists can be expected until the problem is solved.

The authorities will try all kinds of gymnastics to avoid doing the necessary. Some of these moves can also resemble true efforts for improvement. But we shouldn't be fooled. The problem will only get worse until the politicians are willing to impose major changes and a total shift in the way the CPS thinks and practices.

The only way to get there is through increased and sustained pressure from within and outside our country.

Jan Simonsen:
Nå får også sveitserne vite om de norske barnevernsovergrepene (Now the Swiss too are informed about the abuse carried out by Norwegian Barnevernet)
Frie Ytringer, Jan Simonsens blogg, 28 November 2016

"«Vi står overfor en vegg», påpeker det tsjekkiske EU-parlamentsmedlemmet Tomas Zdechovsky, ... som forsvarer utenlandske familier og har tatt opp problemene med det norske barnevernets mange menneskerettighetsbrudd i internasjonale fora, til den sveitsiske avisen."
("We face a wall" the Czech member of the European Parliament Tomas Zdechovsky points out to the Swiss paper Tribune de Geneve. [He] defends foreign families and has in international fora addressed the problems of the Norwegian child protection agency Barnevernet's many violations of human rights.)

The article in Tribune de Genève is by Aline Fontaine, who has previously made a tv report about Norwegian Barnevern (arte.tv: Norvège : familles brisées).

"Mange foreldre blir fratatt sine barn på helt vilkårlige grunner som mangel på øyekontakt med barnet sitt eller et måltid gitt til feil tid, skriver Tribune deGeneve, som også har fått med seg at Norge har tapt flere saker for Den europeiske menneskerettighetsdomstolen uten at avgjørelsene er fulgt opp."
(Many parents are deprived of their children on completely arbitrary grounds like lack of eye contact with their child or serving a meal at a wrong time, says Tribune de Genève, which has also noted that Norway has lost several cases at the European Court of Human Rights without following up these judgments.)

Here is a version in German of the French article/information:

Norwegen: So schützen sie Kinder?
info.arte.tv, 17 August 2017

It seems that the French original has been given a "rediffusion", possibly with additions?, on 17 August 2017. The original link now leads to the newly issued version:

Norvège : familles brisées
info.arte.tv, 17 août 2017
