Can Politicians Find Some Good Solutions for Us?
by Arild Holta, Translated by Frida Libert

(I have made changes after it was translated into English. Do not blame incorrect translations on the translator. They are my fault :-) Just tell me for example on Facebook what to fix. I need translators and proofreaders.)

Norwegian members of Parliament and government claim they cannot give any guidelines or try direct reformation of the Norwegian CPS.

There are no laws forbidding politicians to intervene when people suffer.

Politicians have Fylkesmennene (the County Governors) to monitor the municipalities. They can at any time be supplied with professional resources to stop the use of unprofessional force and human rights violations.

Here are the responsibilities of Children and Equality Ministry

Politicians should also deal with the Health Supervisions office (Helsetilsynet). Here are the responsibilities of the Health department.

That the child does not have a discipline based on high evidence should have been a matter of urgency for the Ministry of Education.

Politicians have previously interfered in individual’s destiny in terms of both child welfare, health and asylums issue, and so on. But media has been willing to respond in order to hang out such politicians by being bureaucratic rostrum. Therefore it requires politicians’ courage.

Parliaments can allocate finances for better treating in the courts.

Ect. There are a number of reforming efforts to get started rapidly - if they have will to do it. The government can even prove that it is progressive to call it a shift to prevention. If they want to listen.

In Norway we have a threefold powers between parliament, government and courts. Everything else is subject to this power. Also municipalities and so-called CPS..

What should be done is just limited to the will.

------------------------------

The Justice Ministry could perform the followings in cooperation with other Ministries.

Government could immediately set up a group -an comprehensive crisis team- that includes OUR professionals (the ones who can represent the victim children and parents, and get supported by the CPS-force involved children and parents and the ones who have experiences of human rights violations for CPS workers), people with common sense and rational and ethical judgements in practical, and universal matters when it comes to the criticizing and blaming stuffs by CPS against the concerned families (Many immigrants that comprehend this!), a majority of the empirical and the ones who believe in natural rights (Norwegian explanation). Preferably from foreign countries and the Third World. These group can estimate what the police can be allowed to attend.

It is illegal for the police to participate in human rights violations.

The Police have a forensic duty to make independent assessments. This crisis team or commissions could have been an extension of the police. The Police has -of course- not permission to participate in crime and human rights violations. Which CPS are doing.

Without police power, the child welfare are domesticated.

Therefore this process could give helps to get rid of passingly 80% of the cases of care -transfer in a few months. Because, there are about so many cases who are obvious human rights violations. There are many more human rights violations. For example after care orders - how the kids have been treated by CPS and foster family after being ordered the transfer of care.

Similar could be done with the use of force in institutions. It's been about two suicide of CPS juveniles and kids in CPS institutions every month.

Children possess common sense to evaluate what is fair or not

Regarding children who want to go home, so are many of children good at evaluating by themselves. They would naturally go home to mother and father, or to any other near and dear ones. Release them free! Then, if a plethora of children had come home with help of their nearest and other. We would have gotten a historic reunion.

Parents (or other dear relatives etc. ) could temporarily have been paid as foster parents for quickly to make the parents out of poverty.

In Extension

The Auxiliary Service (or housewife substitute; in Norwegian: husmorvikar) should immediately have been placed in where needed extra help. (It can supply more jobs for the unemployed and influence on stimulation of the national economy in this days of international economic problem.) It's many exhausted people after the battle toward CPS, and many of them get health problems causing by CPS case.

A fantastic potential for professionals

It is for sure that some family-friendly foreign professionals could take part in such historic projects with family reunion. Norwegian experts would we mostly keep away from this process. The academic community has somehow been ‘bubbles’, destroyed or deviant from genuine and ideal functioning for people. It even has furnished politicians with crooked information and ideologi.

Financing

The work will probably release several billions in the long term. Financing is therefore not a big problem.

At last

It is not important how we stop human rights violations and the unnecessary agony, but the point is:

Politicians must get started on doing what they are there for: to lead us out of suffering.
